Browse the site, and if you see a product you wish to purchase, click on the ‘add to cart’ button underneath it.
Continue to add items until you have completed your order, and you can also continue to other parts of the site before returning to your shopping cart, without losing the items you have already selected.
You can remove items, or indeed completely empty your cart at any time, by simply clicking on the appropriate button.
When you have chosen all the products you want, click the ‘checkout’ item and follow the instructions for purchasing the items that you have chosen. You can check the items in your shopping cart at any time by simply clicking the ‘show basket’ button.
The site uses a login and password system, which means that returning customers will not have to re-enter all their personal information. and re-ordering will be quicker. However, if you do not wish to register you can simply order withour registering.
Please note that no invoice or receipt is sent out with your gift, just a card from you to your recipient – you will have the ability to write a personal message on the card at the checkout. Your order confirmations will come in the form of emails from ourselves and our payment providers. Your recipient does not see the purchase details or sum spent.
How can I place an order?
You can only purchase boxhappy products online. Soon after an order for a boxhappy product is placed, you will receive a worldpay or paypal email confirmation for the transaction amount. This means your bank has authorised the transaction. You will also receive an order confirmation from us. You will then receive a despatch notification from us once your goods have been despatched.
You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo or Delta. You can also pay using your Paypal account. All transactions are processed using the internationally renowned Worldpay or Paypal (depending on which you chose) payments system on a secure server.
If using Paypal please note that they default the address of the cardholder as their 'Send to' address on their payment confirmation. The actual delivery or 'despatch to' address will be that which you input at checkout. You will see this clearly on your Boxhappy.com order confirmation which you will also receive when placing your order.
Can you deliver bulk items/Are there discounts for Corporate Accounts?
We are happy to fulfil bulk orders from businesses. Be it an order for sales force, management team, call centre staff, trade suppliers or whoever, we are happy to specially tailor a solution for you. What are my delivery options?
For orders placed of 'Boxhappy' boxes we offer a standard UK First Class Post delivery option. All working day (Monday - Friday) orders placed before 14:00 hours are despatched that same day. Royal Mail state that over 91% of First Class items arrive the next working day. Our UK delivery charge is currently £3.99. The delivery charge will be clearly displayed at checkout.
If your package is being delivered to forces personnel at a BFPO (British Forces Post Office) address, there is currently a concessionary delivery charge of £3.99. We are charged by BFPO for all BFPO delivery and as a business do not benefit from the FREEPOST to BFPO service.
Can you deliver to a BFPO address?
Yes. We have been delivering hundreds of boxes a month to BFPO addresses worldwide for almost a decade. Boxes in the 'Military' section can be sent to BFPO addresses, as can boxes in the other sections of the site.
All our boxes on the website weigh less than 2KG. We are contracted with the BFPO for delivery of our items and we are charged by them for delivery. As such we do make a small delivery charge at checkout, which is considerably less than the cost of delivery. As a business, Boxhappy.com do not benefit from the enduring FREE mail service to certain BFPO addresses; this is available to friends and family of serving personnel, not commercial companies.
boxhappy.com is contracted directly to the BFPO. As such we despatch boxes directly to them for distribution worldwide, saving you time. We usually deliver to BFPO Commercial Receipts (London) on Mondays and Thursdays, however on weeks where volumes are high we often deliver on additional days. Once your box has been delivered by us to BFPO you will receive an email 'despatch confirmation' confirming that your order is on its way. We do not email you again to confirm receipt of your item.
Delivery to H.M. military bases in the UK and overseas is made via MoD central clearing and we have no control over the ultimate delivery time involved. Consequently, we will not be held liable for any loss whatsoever caused by late or delayed delivery. However, as a guideline, delivery to all BFPO Static Locations will be between 4 and 8 working days.
Transit times for delivery to Operational areas are harder to determine. All we can guarantee here is that
your package will be despatched quickly to BFPO Northolt and that they in turn will forward your package on promptly. BFPOs 655 and 677 ( Falkland Islands & Ascension Island ) have a much longer estimated delivery time, which can be as much as 8 to 10 weeks. Again, boxhappy.com cannot be held liable for any loss whatsoever caused by late or delayed delivery.
Again, unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for any damage to your products or losses arising as a result of such damage once the products have been collected from our premises and are in transit to the relevant BFPO address. We will not be held liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery or damage to the products once they have left our premises. Again, please contact us as soon as possible if your item does not arrive when expected or if it arrives damaged, and we will investigate. Before ordering please consider the suitability of items that you choose to send to BFPO addresses e.g. flowers and chocolates to hot destinations.
Please note: we ask you to enter your contact phone number before you proceed through the order form. This is required in case we need to contact you if there is any issue with delivery. In the case of shipping to BFPO addresses this phone number should be your own.
Can you deliver to a PO Box number?
Regrettably, for security reasons we cannot do so.
Cancellations & returns
boxhappy.com reserves the right to refuse any order or part of order, or to require further or better information to enable it to evaluate or process the order.
We take pride in the quality of our gifts and the reliability of the boxhappy.com service.
We rely on the accuracy of the shipping details you give us and cannot accept liability for late or failed delivery if this is incorrect. If an order remains undelivered we will email you for further instructions. If it is not claimed within a reasonable time we will recredit the price of the goods to your credit card less any costs and admin fees incurred by us. For items ordered for BFPO delivery you will need to advise us of non-delivery as soon as possible. We will then request a Track & Trace from BFPO, and if they cannot confirm delivery of your item a full refund will be made. You will need to advise us of 'non-delivery' within 10 weeks of placing your order. Please be aware that a Track & Trace cannot be requested until at least 25 days have passed from despatch of your item.
You should allow a minimum of 5 weeks for an item to arrive at a BFPO address. BFPO orders cannot be cancelled once they have been despatched. In instances where a recipient leaves their BFPO address before the item has arrived; BFPO will endeavour to deliver the item to their new address. If a minimum of 28 days has not passed from the order being placed we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your products or losses arising as a result of such damage if the item has been sent to a BFPO address where the recipient does not reside or has left. Due to the persihable nature of goods we reserve the right to not make a refund for goods returned to sender (boxhappy.com) if they have been returned to us as a result of incorrect delivery details being provided, or the recipient having left his/her BFPO address within the aforementioned timeframe (ie within 28 days of the order being placed).
For UK delivery, in accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (as amended), if you are not completely happy with any item you have purchased from us, for whatever reason, please send it back for a full refund of the purchase price. Please note that you shall be responsible for the delivery costs of returning the product(s) to boxhappy.com other than where the product(s) received are damaged or faulty. This guarantee is good for 7 days from the original delivery date providing the items are returned undamaged and in the same packaging as despatched. Please email us using our contact us page and let us know that you would like to return an item(s) before you return anything. You will then be sent a Returns Authorisation number and address. We advise customers to acquire proof of posting from the post office, or to send goods by special delivery. Once we have received the goods the refund of the purchase price will go to the purchaser's credit card. In the unlikely event that you received damaged or faulty goods we will issue a full refund including the costs of post and packaging.

Can I swap items in box?
Will the package received be exactly as seen on the website?
Almost always, yes. We hold all items displayed on the site in stock. However from time to time a problem may occur with a particular item. We reserve the right to replace items with an item of an equal or greater value in this circumstance or for any other reason. Consequently, any sample images and/or photographs of items displayed on the website are supplied solely for information and in no way import any express or implied conditions or warranties as to quality, description, fitness for purpose or merchantable quality and you shall be deemed have satisfied yourself as to such matters prior to ordering items from the website. For products purchased from external linked sites please check the terms and conditions of the relevant website.
A number of products that we include as part of our packages may contain elements of either nuts or nut oil. We always strongly recommend that people with nut allergies check the packaging of all consumables and do not consume products that have a nut warning. For the avoidance of doubt, boxhappy.com shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage or claims caused as a result of nut allergies, save for death and/or personal injury arising from any deliberate act or omission by, or the negligence of, boxhappy.com.
Paying for your order
We accept all credit and debit cards which show the Visa, Mastercard, Switch or Delta symbols. All such
payments are taken using the internationally renowned online Worldpay or Paypal secure payments systems. You will have a choice of which system you would like to use at our checkout.
The price for each boxhappy product shown includes VAT at 20%.
